(C) Reuters. Ethereum Dips Below 198.58 Level, Down 20% – Ethereum fell bellow the $198.58 level on Sunday. Ethereum was trading at 198.58 by 19:49 (23:49 GMT) on the Index, down 19.50% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage loss since September 5, 2018.

The move downwards pushed Ethereum’s market cap down to $22.71B, or 0.00% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum’s market cap was $135.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $198.55 to $237.30 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 5.35%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $21.26B or 0.00% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $198.5532 to $251.5475 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 86.05% from its all-time high of $1,423.20 set on January 13, 2018.

Bitcoin was last at $8,036.3 on the Index, down 10.88% on the day.

XRP was trading at $0.20388 on the Index, a loss of 16.64%.

Bitcoin’s market cap was last at $149.86B or 0.00% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while XRP’s market cap totaled $9.18B or 0.00% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
